We use a highly customizable, web-based lighting audit software system from the start of our operations all the way to the final walkthrough analysis of a site. This makes sure no details are lost throughout the duration of the project, ensuring the client gets exactly what they want. We have crafted and perfected this system, allowing us to cut down on cost and time, and in turn passing off more savings to the customer.
Best Technology to Perform the Audit
When an auditor comes out to a site to do a lighting audit, all of the data is collected via iPads using the mobile version of our lighting audit software.
This data includes light level readings, ceiling heights, and qualitative information such as the condition of the existing fixtures, along with documented photos and videos of the lighting equipment and workspace.
At the completion of the lighting audit, the auditor will send all of the collected information, photos, and videos to the cloud. This allows our staff here in Atlanta to immediately get to work reviewing the data and begin working on a proposal for the client.
In the past, our audits involved jotting down information into legal pad, and then having to input all the data into the computer. This was a painstakingly slow process because it was all done manually. It may have taken a couple weeks to get a proposal put together.
Now, we have the ability to turn a proposal around in just a few hours with the help of our lighting audit software. At Hemma Lighting we are constantly innovating to make the entire process as fast and efficient as possible.
Project Planning, Management and Analysis
Once we get a purchase order from a client, we use the same lighting audit software to order materials and schedule labor.
As the upgrade process progresses, we will also use the lighting audit software tool to manage the project, preventing errors from occurring during the process.
At the end of the job, the lighting audit software tool will provide us with a comprehensive analysis of the project and our company performance, allowing us to constantly improve our speed and efficiency.
Once the data for a particular client’s facility has been sent to the cloud, the clients themselves have 24/7 access to their data. They are able to get on the portal through the lighting audit software and view the information recorded during the lighting audit, along with the photos and videos that were taken and the proposal itself.
As things progress, clients can log onto the portal to review the status of the project and see what we’re doing and how we’re doing it. The client portal in the lighting audit software makes communicating with clients easier than ever before.
