How do we do it?

Hemma Lighting Solutions has successfully implemented thousands of LED lighting upgrades, retrofits, and conversions throughout the United States. We owe a lot of our success to our very dedicated, professional staff. They have the skills, knowledge and experience to do the job right, and have raised the bar when it comes to lighting audits and installations.

One of the key assets that sets us apart from the other lighting companies is our one-of-a-kind lighting audit software and other systems, which makes us extremely efficient in how we do our work. We can generate proposals in a fraction of the time it would take without these tools, allowing us to charge very reasonable fees for our services.

So what are the tools that make us so efficient and cost-competitive?

We use a highly customizable, web-based lighting audit software system from the start of our operations all the way to the final walkthrough analysis of a site. We have crafted and perfected the system for the services we provide.

Best Technology to Perform the Audit

When a auditor comes out to a site to do a lighting audit, all of the data is collected via iPads using the application version of our lighting audit software. The data includes light level readings, ceiling heights, and qualitative information such as the condition of the existing fixtures, along with documented photos and videos of the lighting equipment and workspace. At the completion of the lighting audit, the auditor will send all of the collected information, photos, and videos up to the cloud. Then instantly, our staff here in Atlanta can review the data and start working on a proposal for the client.

In the past, our audits involved jotting down information into legal pad, and then having to input all the data into the computer. This was a painstakingly slow process because it was all done manually. It may have taken a couple weeks to get a proposal put together. Now, we have the ability to turn a proposal around in just a few hours with the help of our lighting audit software.

Project Planning, Management and Analysis

Once we get a purchase order from a client, we use the same lighting audit software to order materials and for labor scheduling. As the upgrade process progresses, we will also use the lighting audit software tool to manage the project. At the end of the job, the lighting audit software tool will provide us with an analysis of the project and our company performance.

Once the data for a particular client’s facility has been sent to the cloud, the clients themselves have access to their data. They are able to get on the portal through the lighting audit software and see the information recorded during the lighting audit, along with the photos and videos that were taken and the proposal. As things progress, they can log onto the portal to review the status of the project and see what we’re doing. The client portal in the lighting audit software makes communicating with clients easier than it has ever been before.

Same Top-Quality Work, Lower Prices for You

In the end, these tools allow us to do our work with a corporate office staff of 10 people, when in the past, it would have taken 30 people to do the same amount of work. This means a lower payroll overhead for us, and we can then pass these savings onto our clients.
