Community Involvement

We’re dedicated to helping others

At Hemma Lighting Solutions, we are not only committed to providing top quality lighting products and services, but we are also dedicated to giving back to the community as much as we can. Helping others and involving ourselves in worthy causes makes our community a better place for everyone to live and work.

In 2016-17, Hemma Lighting donated and installed a new, school-wide lighting system for Cumberland Academy of Georgia, an Atlanta school that specializes in the needs of students in grades 4 through 12 who have high-functioning Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and other learning disabilities. It was an honor to be able to give back to the Cumberland Academy of Georgia, who has shaped and transformed so many children’s lives. In addition to our philanthropic involvement, we provided the LED lighting upgrade at Dunwoody United Methodist Church (DUMC). A church in which several local community members attend as well as some of our own Hemma Lighting staff members.

Hemma is also working on the installation of a new exterior lighting system at the Dunwoody Nature Center, a 22-acre green space located within Dunwoody Park. Hemma Lighting is donating all of the materials and labor to perform the installation, which is scheduled for the summer of 2017.  Whether we are donating products or services, providing grants, or volunteering our time, we dedicate ourselves to serving our local community and our clients alike.

Furthermore, members of our team involve themselves with several different organizations such as:

• Dunwoody Nature Center
• Travis Roberts Foundation – “Cancer Kicks”
• Camp All American

For us, giving back isn’t just a motto – it’s a way of doing business.
